Buttocks lift

Buttocks lift is an operation aimed at eliminating of excess sagging tissues of the lower half of the buttocks with a decrease in the vertical size. From the elongated and flattened shape the buttocks are becoming more elevated and rounded.

Buttocks lift is often combined with liposuction in other areas - all this allows to obtain more harmonious result. Sometimes this is done as a part of a larger operation – bodilifting; for example - at the same time both lifting the buttocks and plastic of anterior abdominal wall are performed. Sometimes the line of postoperative suture is closed with special medical glue that allows a patient to take a shower the next day after surgery. The period of limitation in physical activity is about 6 weeks. Other types of lifting the buttocks - with slanted arrangement of postoperative scar on the buttock or on gluteal-femoral site furrows were less common, due to the formation of scars in visible areas or a more modest improvement in the contour of the buttocks.

The reason for the operation is a severe relaxed buttocks sagging skin in the lower part. As a result of intensive weight loss a significant excess of sagging skin is formed, which leads to the formation of hanging skin folds in the area of gluteal furrows.

There are several policy options to perform the operation. Most often a significant portion of the vertical size of the skin - up to 14 or more cm in the upper half of the buttocks is removed. The lower parts of the buttocks are moving vertically upward with a complete smoothing of the skin folds at the bottom. The operation ends with putting of a fiber cosmetic seam. The operative time is 3 - 3.5 hours.

Rehabilitation

It is recommended to stay in hospital for a day. You can take the shower after 3 days after surgery. Compression garment, if liposuction of adjacent areas was not performed, is not worn. Technology used in the clinic for the operation is that it is allowed to sit the next day, including driving a car. The final result is to be evaluated after 2 months.
